Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
These Terms of Service explain what you can expect from PagesBuilt and what we ask of you. We've kept them as straightforward as possible. If you have questions, just reach out.
1. Agreement to Terms
By visiting pagesbuilt.com or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our services. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
2. Services Provided
PagesBuilt builds and maintains professional one-page websites for US local businesses. Here's what's included:
- Custom one-page website design and development
- Domain registration and ongoing management
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Content updates as part of the monthly plan — including changes to your hours, contact information, photos, and service descriptions
The following are not included in our standard service:
- Email hosting or business email setup
- SEO campaigns or paid advertising management
- Social media management
- Multi-page websites or e-commerce functionality
Some of these may be offered as separate services in the future.
3. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing is simple and transparent:
- $399 one-time setup fee — charged only when you approve your website and decide to go live. You never pay before seeing the finished product.
- $29/month hosting and maintenance — billed monthly via Stripe. Covers hosting, maintenance, and content updates.
- All prices are in USD.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. PagesBuilt does not store your credit card information. You agree to keep your payment information current to avoid any interruption to your service.
4. Refund Policy
Setup fee ($399): We don't collect payment until you've seen and approved your website — so there's nothing to refund before that point. Once you approve and payment is processed, the $399 setup fee is non-refundable. By that stage, your domain has been purchased and your site has been configured and launched on your behalf.
The one exception: if PagesBuilt fails to deliver the agreed website within the promised timeframe, you are entitled to a full refund of the setup fee.
Monthly hosting ($29/month): We don't provide prorated refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, your site stays live through the end of that billing period and you will not be charged for any subsequent months.
5. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your monthly hosting at any time — no contracts, no cancellation fees. To cancel, email nico@pagesbuilt.com or call (555) 000-0000.
When you cancel:
- Your website stays live through the end of the current billing period
- After that, the site will be taken offline
- You'll receive all your website files (HTML, CSS, images) — you own your content
- You can request that your domain be transferred to you at no extra charge — we'll take care of the transfer process
PagesBuilt reserves the right to cancel or suspend service if a payment fails and the issue remains unresolved after reasonable notification attempts.
6. Intellectual Property
You own your website content and files. Once your site is delivered and paid for, those assets are yours.
PagesBuilt may display your completed website in our portfolio as an example of our work. If you'd prefer we didn't, just let us know and we'll remove it.
Third-party assets used in your website — such as fonts and icons — remain subject to their respective licenses. The PagesBuilt name, logo, and website are our property.
7. Your Responsibilities
To help us do our best work, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your business
- Respond to our messages within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure you have the right to use any content you provide to us — including photos, logos, and text
- Use your website only for lawful purposes
8. Limitation of Liability
PagesBuilt is a small agency. We work hard to keep your site up and running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service — websites depend on third-party infrastructure (hosting, DNS, CDN providers) that can occasionally experience outages outside our control.
PagesBuilt is not liable for any business losses — including lost revenue, missed calls, or lost customers — resulting from website downtime, third-party service outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We also don't guarantee specific business results from having a website.
In any case, PagesBuilt's maximum liability to you is limited to the total amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.
9. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If you're an active client, we'll notify you of any material changes by email. Continued use of our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved under Delaware law.
