Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PagesBuilt collects, how we use it, and how we protect it. We've written it in plain language — no legal jargon. If you have questions, just reach out.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you share with us directly, and what we gather from public sources to build your website.
Information you share with us: When you contact PagesBuilt — by phone, email, or text — we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, and phone number. We use this to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to communicate with you about your website.
Payment information: When you purchase our services, your payment is processed through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data securely. You can review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.
Public business information: To build your preview website, we gather publicly available business details from sources like Google Business Profile — things like your business name, address, phone number, hours, and reviews. This information is already public; we're simply using it to craft your site.
Website analytics: We may use a basic analytics service to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages they visit and how long they stay. We don't use advertising trackers and we don't share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We don't have an account registration system. We don't collect user-generated content. We don't use social media login.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and inquiries
- Build and deliver the website you ordered
- Process your payment through Stripe
- Understand how our website is being used so we can improve it
We don't use your information for marketing purposes without your permission.
3. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell your personal data. We share limited information only with the services required to run our business:
- Stripe — our payment processor. When you pay for a website, Stripe receives your payment details to complete the transaction. Stripe is PCI-compliant and operates under their own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — provides hosting and CDN services for our website and your website. They may process data as part of delivering web pages to visitors.
That's it. Your information doesn't go anywhere else.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. All data is transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which meets the highest security standards for processing payment data.
No system is completely risk-free. If you have concerns about how your information is handled, please reach out and we'll address them directly.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Ask us to delete your information
To make any of these requests, email us at nico@pagesbuilt.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
6. Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of third-party services, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
- Cloudflare (hosting and CDN) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Google Fonts (typography) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Analytics provider — if we use an analytics service, it receives anonymized usage data only. No personally identifiable information is shared.
We don't control how these services handle data. We encourage you to review their policies directly.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are designed for small business owners. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If you're an active client, we'll let you know about material changes by email. Continued use of our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
